This week, we’re shining a well-deserved spotlight on Bettrina K.
While on shift, Bettrina was there when our client on hospice peacefully passed. As she updated us on the situation and coordinated the next steps with Hospice and the funeral home, she shared something that truly touched our hearts: she had gently washed our client, brushed her hair, changed her clothes and bedding, and made sure she was clean, comfortable, and presented with dignity for her family.
Bettrina understood that caring doesn’t stop at the end of life. She treated our client with the same compassion, respect, and dignity she had shown throughout her care.
Thank you, Bettrina, for going above and beyond and for reminding us what compassionate caregiving truly looks like.
