We’re excited to celebrate our October Employee of the Month!
Macie brings a genuine heart for helping others to her role as a caregiver. When asked what she enjoys most about caregiving, she shared:
“I simply love being of service to those in need of extra support. I enjoy creating a safe and nurturing space for my clients.”
That compassion and dedication are just a few of the reasons we’re so grateful to have her on the Everlight Care team.
Getting to Know Macie
Macie’s very first job was providing janitorial services for the children’s ministry at Fresno First Baptist Church. Today, when she’s not caring for others, she enjoys reading, meditating, and spending quality time with loved ones. Her happy place is anywhere coastal, preferably near the beach, and if sushi is involved, even better!
When asked why she enjoys working at Everlight Care, she shared:
“Everlight has treated me so well over the years. Everlight Care has been nothing short of accommodating, supportive, and encouraging throughout my journey through not only caregiving, but adulthood and motherhood as well.”
Looking ahead, Macie has a meaningful goal: to continue making space for herself and the things she enjoys outside of her daily responsibilities.
“My goal is to enjoy life, not just move through life passively.”
