Everlight Care Receives 2023 Best of Home Care® – Top 100 in Experience, Leader in Training, Leader in Experience Award, Employer of Choice, and Provider of Choice Awards

Fresno & Kern Counties – Everlight Care announced today that it received the distinguished 2023 Best of Home Care Awards from HCP, the leading firm in experience management for home care. These awards are the highest recognition awarded by HCP and is given to select home care businesses that consistently rank among the very highest in 10 or more quality metrics. For the second year in a row, Evelight Care was ranked in the top 3 home care agencies across the nation and ranked #1 in the Central Valley and Kern County. Everlight Care is now recognized among the top 10% of home care providers participating in the nationwide HCP Experience Management Program.

To qualify for this award, 10% of Everlight Care’s clients and caregivers were interviewed each month by HCP. Using feedback from clients and employees, as well as quality benchmarks from HCP, the Everlight Care management team set goals to reach the highest level of experience possible.

Gina Kendall

Gina Kendall has over 25 years of work experience serving the aging and the disabled. Her extensive experience in care and management began as a Social Services Coordinator in skilled nursing facilities. While working in this capacity, she became aware of the need for, and the importance of, good, quality, home care. Gina worked with families to keep their loved ones home and avoid a return visit to the hospital. As she continued her career of service, she began working with the disabled population helping to expand and improve their independence throughout all aspects of life.

This combination of experiences has afforded Gina a unique view of the needs of the aging and the disabled and how to best serve those needs in a home setting.

Gina’s Central Valley roots run deep. She earned her BA degree from Fresno State in 1993 and has lived and worked in Fresno for the past 20 years. In addition to raising her family in Fresno, she is actively involved in her local church and is a volunteer for various local community organizations.
